MISSIONS AND GOALS

The main goal of the project “Establishment of Pernik Youth Center – a model for high standards of youth work” is the construction of appropriate infrastructure and the introduction of effective measures and activities aimed at the social inclusion and personal development of young people on the territory of the municipality, with a special focus on vulnerable groups.

• For its main mission, the center has to work with the youth sector and young people and to encourage their active participation in the formation of educational programs and policies at the local and national level. A priority in the implementation of the project is the selection of activities that meet the identified needs and wants of young people in the territory of the city of Pernik and ensuring their active participation.
• International youth center – Pernik provides opportunities for non-formal education in the areas of democratic values, human rights, youth participation and social rights of young people, as well as educational support for young people in need.
